Esta presentación de madre e hija recurre a la experiencia personal para examinar formas de identificar signos de enfermedad mental, establecer una comunicación eficaz y tomar medidas desde el principio.
Basándonos en experiencias personales, enfatizaremos cuatro pasos principales para la intervención temprana:

NAMI SF Programs
Parents as Allies and Advocates es una presentación para padres y cuidadores que proporcionará una descripción general de los problemas de salud mental de los jóvenes, incluida la prevalencia y las señales de advertencia que debe buscar, e ideas sobre cómo apoyar a su niño / adolescente. La presentación será facilitada por un padre que tiene experiencia en la crianza de un niño con una condición de salud mental junto con un adulto joven que vive con una condición. Las preguntas y respuestas al final de la sesión proporcionarán tiempo para que los asistentes hagan preguntas y se incluirán enlaces a recursos para el apoyo continuo.

Individual, group, and family counseling services, case management, and health care education programs. Medi-cal provider site and offers sliding scale payment structure. Crisis intervention services.
Support For Families of Children with Disabilities (SFCD):
Wide range of support groups for parents/caregivers and family members. Groups held in Spanish and Cantonese. SFCD also offers a parent mentor program, an information warm-line, and a calendar of family-oriented events.
Range of mental health services including individual and family counseling, evaluations and assessments, psychiatric consultation, tele-therapy, and outpatient programs. Extensive resource library. Community education for students, parents/caregivers, and community groups. Located in Peninsula/South Bay.
The Greenlight Clinic's diverse staff offers free counseling services for ages 14-26.

Depression Bipolar Support Alliance: Mood Crew Emotions Curriculum
Extensive toolkit featuring workbooks, activities, stories, and more. For young children and parents/caregivers - provides fun information for kids to better understand their emotions and practical information for parents/caregivers to support their children.

RAMS:
Child, Youth, and Families services include individual and family therapy, case management, psychiatric evaluation, parenting consultation, and linkage and referral services. Serve youth through age 21.
San Francisco Health Network: Community Programs for Youth:
Free behavioral health counseling for ages 12-24. Multiple locations. Multiple languages. Other services include primary care, urgent care, and sexual and reproductive health.
Masonic Center for Youth and Families:
Behavioral health services for young people ages 4-24, including individual, family, and educational therapy. Sliding-scale payment structure. Diverse staff. Other services include crisis stabilization, residential treatment program, inpatient services, hospital diversion program, and partial hospitalization programs.
Edgewood Center for Children and Families:
Wide range of programs including therapeutic behavioral health services for youth ages 3-21. Full-scope Medi-Cal insurance is required.
Psychotherapy, psychiatry, and case management services for youth and families.
Offering sliding-scale therapy services for all ages - fees are discussed on an individual basis. Diverse staff. In-person or virtual appointments.
