Ending the Stigma is an educational presentation for students to learn about mental health, mental health conditions, support strategies, local resources, and more. Available in English and Spanish via multiple presentation formats.
Parents as Allies and Advocates
Parents as Allies and Advocates is a presentation for parents and caregivers that provides an overview of youth mental health issues, including prevalence and warning signs, and ideas for how to support your child/teen. The presentation is facilitated by a parent with experience raising a child with a mental health condition along with a young adult who lives with a condition. Q&A at the end of the session provides time for attendees to ask questions and links to resources for ongoing support will be included.
In Our Own Voice
In Our Own Voice is a unique public education presentation that offers insight into the hope and recovery possible for people living with mental health conditions. Trained individuals living with conditions share their journeys living with these conditions and engage with the audience to answer questions and decrease stigma.
Mental Health 101
Mental Health 101 is an educational program for community groups of all kinds - libraries, religious organizations, college students, and community-based organizations, among others. The goal of the presentation is to curb the stigma surrounding mental health, highlight mental health fundamentals, provide a space to connect around peer lived-experience, and share local resources and services. Alongside our standard presentation in English, our team offers Mental Health 101 in Cantonese and Spanish.
