Black + African-American, All-Men Support Group
2nd Wednesday at 6-7:30 pm on Zoom
This support group is a safe, confidential space where Black and African-American men can share experiences and emotions and feel less alone, for others may have gone through similar situations. Led by NAMI-trained volunteers with extensive personal experience coping with mental health challenges, this support group breaks down stigma and fosters a judgment-free zone where we can listen and be heard.
Faith-Based Peer Support Group with Grace Tabernacle Church
2nd and 4th Thursdays, 7:00- 8:30pm on Zoom

This faith-based group offers confidential support for mental health conditions, blending faith and conventional methods. We share experiences, offer support, and exchange coping strategies to foster hope and understanding through psychological and spiritual insights. Learn from others about local resources, community organizations, and personal coping strategies. Led by NAMI-trained volunteers with extensive personal experience coping with mental illnesses.  NAMI  Familia  Los grupos de apoyo brindan conocimiento y comprensión junto con una oportunidad para que las familias y los cuidadores de las personas que viven con enfermedades mentales compartan experiencias en un entorno confidencial.  Los grupos están dirigidos por profesionales capacitados o miembros de NAMI con amplia experiencia personal en el manejo de enfermedades mentales y su impacto en las familias.

An interfaith devotional and discussion group that seeks to identify, define and put into action specific virtues or spiritual attributes that can uplift us and help us to rise above the limitations and sufferings of mental illness and the daily challenges that we and our families experience.
